I have Need for Speed ProStreet for PC and I am having problems with it. I install the game, install the American 1.1 patch (European patch causes the game to crash on start up) and launch the game. The game opens in full screen at 640x480, so I go to the options, change the resolution to 1920x1200 and set all the graphics to high detail. All is fine, I can play the game and there are no problems.
However, when I close the game and reopen it, the game opens full screen at 640x480 and all my graphics settings have reverted to their default values. I can successfully change the graphical settings back to high but as soon as I close the game and reopen it, the settings revert back to default. This is incredibly frustrating and annoying!!! It's not just the graphics settings that aren't being remembered, it happens with the sound settings too, they revert back to default whenever the game is loaded again.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and this has not helped... any ideas?
